Because Katherine complains that I do not talk to her often enough, something I do not do on purpose by the way, I decided to try to post a little more frequently than once a year to appease her, and let her know whats going on in my life.

And because I am too lazy and couldn't be bothered to study children law very nice, I shall post pictures up too, so that my posts are not wordy and boring. Something Katherine tends to accuse me of.

See lah, I blog, she complain. I don't blog, she complain. Why do I bother, I don't know?

Anyway, this is a post I sort of owe her, since she was too lazy to blog about how wonderful a sister I am.

So here it goes then..

During summer, I had a generous fit, where I bought Katherine a pretty charm bracelet. Being the very smart (Very Competent!) person that I am, I decreed it as Katherine's 18th Birthday gift, so I don't have to ship anything over from London to Malaysia. So... hah, Michelle, you're on your own with Gary this year, wakakaka!

It just occurred to me, that since Katherine wishes to link my post on her blog, I should sort of tone down my psychotic way of talking and rather inflated self-esteem. Ah well~

Anyway, so here is the oh so awesome charm bracelet..

Katherine's Bracelet

A brief explanation on the randomness of the charms, from the left to the right..

1. Jeans
Because Katherine is constantly decked in them. With big stripey shirts too. That was was I termed as her Look of 2009. Shame that they didn't have a big stripey shirt charm.

2. Handbag
She wanted me to get a handbag-themed charms. I put one on, but didn't bother with the rest, because I decided to go funky and choose random ones instead. More effort. That, and the rest of the bag charms were rather hideous.

3. Apple
Tribute to her love for Ringo, since her Prince of Tennis days.

4. Tennis Racquet
Roger Federer. Enough said.

5. Handphone
Few days before buying the charm, in a fit of pure melodrama, I clutched Katherine's legs most pathetically, imploring her not to leave my room. I startled her, she dropped her phone, and blames me for it malfunctioning, even though, come on, it didn't work since the first day you bought it. But its a nice memory, and this charm is a nice reminder of that. Haha.

6. Banana
This is my personal favourite. I choose a banana, because, well, Katherine is one! Oh, I colour myself so happy funny, hahaha.

7. Black Dress
Katherine thinks this is probably the biggest oddball, which is true. I was near desperate to get the 7th charm, after staring at those little things for near two hours. This charm is nice, classy, and it reminds me of her Warehouse dress that I went to Oxford Street to shop for, despite being in the middle of my exam. So, it made the list!

See, do you not think I am such a wonderful sister now? The meanings are so touching!

I do think Charm bracelets are quite an amazing personal gift if you bother taking the time to slowly choose and think.

Anyway..

Since Katherine's charm bracelet was quite a hit, I decided to get one for Pamela for her birthday too..

Pamela's Bracelet
Guess whats the theme for this one?

From left to right,
perfume, comb, lipstick, compact powder, mirror

I choose charms that were related to cosmetics, had a red theme, to match the gold bracelet along with it.

Was really happy with my present, until I found another friend bought her a Follie Follie bracelet, flowers, Chanel make up and what-nots.

Le sigh, no point competing in a race one can never win.

Since I spent so much time in that charm stores, naturally, I picked up a few for myself too!

Lilian's Shoes Charm

Left to Right,
Pretty sandals, ballet pumps, high heel shoes, flip-flops and boots.

Covering all my shoe basics very well!

I bought the pink heels in the middle, and the white boots from the same store. Took out this huge gargantuan boot that Katherine bought me, since it was sort of embarrassing, how it clanged everywhere I went. I'm actually thinking of revamping my bracelet, get a new thinner one, since this one tends to make quite a racket when I write and drag it across the table.

Oh, I am also obliged to mention that Katherine bought me this bracelet, which I am grateful for, and that makes her an awesome sister like me too.

Anyway, I was very happy with my new acquisitions, and proudly wore them to class after fixing them on.

Only to realise in the beginning of my leture...

My pink heels dropped. There is now a huge gaping hole in my shoe charms.

Devastated much here!

Sigh.

I would like to end this post in a charming manner (hah, pun not intended), that Harrods are selling Louboutin charms, and if you wish to buy me that sexy red-backed shoe, I would not say no! =D
